Refund Policy

The (BBYF) has adopted a “NO-REFUND” policy with regards to all registration fees.  It is important that there is a mutual understanding between parents and BBYF regarding the no refund policy. To run this organization BBYF must prepay insurance, field usage, refurbishment of the football gear, and other required administrative items. We prepay for these items prior to the season starting and can't recoup them in the event your child decides he/she doesn't want to play.  Additionally, the BBYF has no control over unexpected events (listed below) that will cause a full or partial season to be cancelled. Therefore, it is for these reasons BBYF has a NO REFUND policy.

Examples of Non-refundable events:

·         Season cancellations full or partial

·         Unavailability of the venue due to fires, floods, power outages or other natural disasters

·         Severe/adverse weather

·         Outbreak of communicable disease

·         Terrorism related events

·         Unhappy with team assignment or child doesn’t want to play anymore.

·         Scheduling conflicts

The only exceptions to this policy would be: 

1.      If the child was medically unable to participate then a note from a doctor, on letterhead indicating that the participant cannot participate is required.

     i.            If a parent has requested a refund due to medical reasons prior to the start of the season (prior to the start of practice), or if a player is cut for safety reasons, they will receive a refund minus $100 administration fee, uniform, and equipment fees. 

2.      If a parent can provide proof that the child is moving from the area, or cannot play due to safety reasons, then a refund minus $100 administration fee, uniform, and equipment fees. will be granted.

Refunds that are awarded will be returned in the following way:

·         Check – We will cut a check to be mailed to the parent home address that we have on file. This process can take up to 2-3 weeks.

To request a refund, an email should be sent to [email protected] with a detailed explanation for the request. After the request has been received our board will review and decide whether to move forward with a refund and how much of the cost will be refunded. The Bayside Broncos Board reserves the right to waive this Refund Policy at its sole discretion at any time. Such waiver shall generally be in response to extenuating or highly unusual circumstances, and in no event shall the Executive Board be obligated to waive this Refund Policy. NO REFUNDS AFTER JULY 31ST.
